ROTPUNKT, an award-winning designer and manufacturer of climate friendly German kitchen furniture for the contemporary home is thrilled with the overwhelming response to its latest designs and product innovations following its participation in this year’s kbb Birmingham on 3rd to 6th March 2024.
Celebrating its highest visitor turnout in 10 years, kbb Birmingham 2024 attracted 17,150 visitors over the four-day event, where Stand Q90 fast became a must-see destination for Rotpunkt customers.
Matt Phillips, Head of UK Operations at Rotpunkt says “We have received really positive feedback in response to our constantly evolving ‘Welcome Home’ concept where we make furniture for the kitchen and utility space, living room, home office and walk-in dressing areas to create all inclusive home environments, which are climate friendly by design. Our strength to deliver a new range of interior design solutions for the contemporary home, which answer current trends and support the Future Homes Standard coming into effect in 2025, means that we can furnish our customers with a constant stream of market leading furniture that is built for now, and mutually beneficial.”
For the duration of the show, Rotpunkt showcased its range of 2024 innovations from Stand Q90, which offered 130 sq m of the latest kitchen, living and wardrobe concepts across four complete kitchen displays, one walk-in dressing room, a custom media lounge and hidden utility room.
Direct feedback at the show centred around the company’s ‘Welcome Home’ concept, its newly expanded product offer and signature displays.
The latest innovation which received the most attention was the new Illuminated Wall Solutions, a flexible niche system featuring horizontally milled LED smart lighting and customisable kitchen storage with a series of complementary accessories.
Reinforcing the rising trend for integrated lighting in 2024, visitors were inspired to see contemporary kitchen storage presented in a new light and dimension.
The new Italian Walnut effect furniture also proved hugely popular with anyone seeking a premium textured look without the price tag. Providing the ultimate laminate solution for the contemporary kitchen living space, end users liked the fact they could opt for either a horizontal or vertical grain effect to ensure a luxurious finish with custom design appeal. ‘Adding character at the right style temperature’ according to one visitor, the Smala 12 mm frame door in new black finish was also commended for being a great alternative to slab doors while answering current trends for modern Shaker-style doors.
From the brand-new 750 mm wide units, industrial-style hardware, and textured stone décors to the expanded range of Memory RI and Fenix colours, Italian Walnut décors, new cabinets for utility rooms and dressing rooms, and additions to the company’s signature grey finish library such as Terra Grey and Grigio Londra, Rotpunkt make it easy for UK retailers to support the eco-conscious homeowner.
Committed to setting a new global standard for using sustainable materials in interior design, Rotpunkt found it highly rewarding to share its vision with customers at kbb, along with the long-term benefits of ‘going green’ through planet-friendly material selection, construction or manufacture.
The company prides itself on working in partnership with both new and established dealers so they can provide client consultations with confidence and effectively be able to deliver on environmentally aware design briefs.
